All our products are cruelty-free and selected for the quality of their ingredients and effectiveness. You’ll find essential oils, herbal extracts and naturally derived colors instead of harsh synthetic chemicals. Many products are made with organic ingredients and are free from parabens and other unnatural substances.

Groceries
We have all the basics as well as gluten and wheat-free products and handcrafted foods from local family businesses. We have a complete bulk foods department with beans, grains, nuts, dried fruit and snacks, as well as bulk herbs. Look for cheeses and yogurt made with organic milk or soy, fresh bakery products and lots of frozen entrees, desserts, and local grass-fed beef from Marin Sun Farms. You’ll also find an indulgence of organic chocolate, natural snacks, organic juice, soups, condiments…and much much more!

Organic Wine
At Country Sun we only carry 'Organic Wines' (No Sulfites Added) and wines 'Made with Organic Grapes'.
Made with Organic Grapes—Grapes have been grown in accordance with the organic standards established by the USDA: without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides and with low levels of added sulfites. Sulfite content must not exceed 100 parts per million (ppm), as opposed to conventional wines which may contain up to 350 ppm.
Organic Wine/No Sulfites Added (NSA)—Grown, produced and bottled as above. These wines may carry the USDA ORGANIC logo. No added sulfites, although traces of naturally occurring sulfites may still be detected.
Vegan Wine—Animal by-products such as isinglass, casein, egg whites or gelatin are commonly used in the winemaking process. Vegan wines are fined with bentonite clay instead.
Biodynamic Wine—Biodynamic farming embraces all of the standards set above for organic viticulture but also adds other dimensions, including planting by lunar and solar cycles and using special compost preparations. Demeter is the certifying body for biodynamic farming.

Organic Produce
All our produce is organically grown. Period. Luckily we are located in California so wonderful, fresh, local produce is available year-round. Our bananas are organic and Fair Trade. We try to purchase only seasonal fruits and vegetables to minimize transport and environmental impact.
